Reconnect with Simon Friend

After 35 years working at PwC, Simon Friend retired as a partner and decided to join RB&HH’s non-executive committee in 2017. With a family history of heart and lung disease this was a perfect opportunity to give something back to the wider community using his wealth of experience.
Simon comments on his first impressions, “I have opened my eyes to the excellence that is within the organisation. It's not just people, but also its team working behaviours. The ability to attract leading world-class consultants, clinicians, and nurses is certainly a very strong feature of the hospital. The teams operate collegiately with a single point of focus.”
