Reconnect with Jocelyn Thomas

Jocelyn Thomas joined the Brompton as a young nurse, running the private patients wing. During her 20-year career at the hospital, she witnessed how the expert teams continually pushed the boundaries of medicine, providing new and innovative treatments. The hospital’s reputation began to attract many patients from across the world, and the nursing team were always ready to help and support.

“There was goodwill and real dedication from all the nurses. For example, when they’d been busy all day and then another emergency was admitted, I’d then ask them to prepare for yet one more case when they were really stretched as it was. I was never refused and their co-operation was absolutely essential", explains Jocelyn.
